In 1966, the Fremont Antique Car Club was founded to preserve and restore antique cars and trucks and educate those interested in antique cars. Since then, many different classifications of car lovers have evolved. In 2022 we decided to change our name to Fremont Area Car Club to include them in our club. What started as a few guys getting together once a month has grown into a club with over 100 members who enjoy getting their cars out of the garage and on the road.
“The car is just a passing fad, the horse is eternal”
~Henry Ford’s Banker, 1903
Our Main Event – The club hosts its annual Fremont Area Car Club swap meet every year on the fourth Sunday in September. As one of Nebraska’s oldest and largest one-day swap meet, this event brings people into Fremont from several states. Our club members work hard to ensure the vendors and buyers have a pleasurable experience.
“Any man who can drive safely while kissing a pretty girl is simply not giving the kiss the attention it deserves.”

Giving Back – We know that our success depends on our community, the Fremont Area Car Club donates money and food to local organizations. We sometimes sponsor a scholarship for local graduating high school students going to an automotive-related field at a college or trade school.
“Movement is the universal language of personal freedom.”
~Louis Chevrolet
